Waitlist

When will I be informed about the availability of apartments?

You will be informed about the availability of apartments as soon as we are aware that a unit will become available. The first person on the waitlist will be given the chance to accept the unit. If they decline, they will be moved to the end of the waitlist, and the next person will be offered the apartment.

What happens if I pass on an available apartment?

If you decide to pass on an available apartment, the opportunity will be offered to the next person on the waitlist.


What is the notice period for outgoing tenants?

Outgoing tenants are typically required to give a notice period as stipulated in their lease agreement. Please refer to your lease for the specific time frame or contact Bulldog Housing management for further details.

Can I be on the waitlist for different types of apartments?

Are short term leases allowed at The Elm?

Because the building is in such high demand we do not offer short term leases. The minimum lease we offer is 12- month.

How many units are available at The Elm?

We pride ourselves on being a boutique luxury building with only 44-units total across 6 floors. Quality over quantity was paramount in this project. Each floor features 9 units, with an exclusive 8 on the 6th floor. The Elm features a unit-mix of studio, one-bed, two-bed, and four-bedroom suites.

How fast are these units renting?

The 4 beds/4 baths units are in high demand and usually rent in the fall for a move-in date of June 1st for the following year. The 2 beds/2 baths start renting in January/February for a move-in date of June 1st in the same year. We have a waiting list for these units - Please fill out the google form that say “Join Waitlist”

What utilities are included in the rent?

  1. Included Utilities: None. Tenants cover all utility expenses.

  2. Electricity: Tenant's responsibility to set up and pay.

  3. Water and Sewer: Tenant's responsibility to set up and pay.

  4. Wi-Fi Access: Available for an additional $60 per month.

  5. Parking: Available starting at $175 per month.

“I can’t find my meter number”

  1. Check your lease agreement; it often lists your meter number.

  2. Visit your meter; the number is usually on the front or side.

  3. If you’re still unable to locate it, contact Bulldog Housing support for assistance.

How do I set up my Internet?

  1. Choose an Internet Service Provider (ISP) available in your area.

  2. Contact the ISP to select a plan and schedule an installation date.

  3. Once installed, follow the ISP’s guide to connect your devices.

How do I set up gas for my Apt/ House?

  1. Determine the gas provider for your area and contact them.

  2. Provide your address and meter number to set up an account.

  3. Schedule a connection date, if necessary, and ensure access for any required inspections.
